Description
SNAP-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3) is an elongation of the popular peptide Argireline. In cosmetic science and biochemical research, it is studied as an anti-wrinkle peptide that topical and targeted formulations use to reduce depth of dynamic expression lines. SNAP-8 works by mimicking the N-terminal end of SNAP-25, thereby competing with the natural protein for a position in the SNARE complex and reducing SNAP-25 dependent muscle contraction signaling.
